Charles-Camille Saint-Saëns (UK: /ˈsæ̃sɒ̃(s)/,[1] US: /sæ̃ˈsɒ̃(s)/,[2][3] French: [ʃaʁl kamij sɛ̃ sɑ̃(s)];[n 1] 9 October 1835 – 16 December 1921) was a French composer, organist, conductor and pianist of the Romantic era.
